Ceramic Beads for Tissue Homogenization. 前一陣子有個新的 project, 需從人類的軟組織中 extract genomic DNA, 而且, 檢體數還不少, 大約有三四百個檢體要做. 一下子來了這麼多檢體, 這時候人類想走捷徑的偷懶, 喔不, 是講求效率的天性又發揮了, 最後, 終於找到不貴又方便 , 又不會有檢體間污染的好工具, 那就是進行組織研磨的 ceramic bead. 它的優點是陶瓷珠已分別裝於每一獨立的管中, 使用超級方便, 對於 RNA 的萃取也是一項不錯的選擇. 缺點就是, 當步驟精簡越多, 所需付出的成本也越大, 幫需要進行的檢體量很大時, 就要稍微計算一下花費了.
